The McLeod County Highway Department is responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of around 400 miles of highway. We also provide road maintenance for several townships. The GIS Department has been active for several years now and is a branch of the Highway Department. Our office is currently involved in the Intelligent Vehicle Initiative with one of our snow plows.
