ITS Minnesota welcomed new membership committee leadership and new members in 2014. Bernie Arseneau, HDR, began co-chairing the membership committee with Ginny Crowson, Athey Creek, this year and HDR also became a new member of ITS Minnesota.
“After being involved with ITS Minnesota for years while working at MnDOT, I was more than happy to initiate HDR’s membership in my new role,” said Arseneau. HDR is a global employee-owned firm providing architecture, engineering, consulting, construction and related services. Arseneau added, “Becoming involved with the membership committee has also allowed me an opportunity to support the ITS Minnesota in another way, and it is wonderful to work with Ginny again.”
Other new members in 2014 include KLJ Engineering and SES America. KLJ provides multidisciplinary engineering-based solutions for national, large-scale operations, with local expertise and they opened a St. Paul office in May 2014. SES America is an NTCIP-compliant dynamic messaging company with a long and reliable history of innovation and niche product development in the dynamic messaging industry.
The membership committee kicked off the 2015 membership drive at the Fall Forum in October. “The ITS industry thrives on innovation and new ideas,” commented Arseneau. “ITS Minnesota fosters innovation by seeking new members and encouraging networking among all of its members at annual events like the Fall Forum.”
